Overview
Our Business Development team in Gallagher Specialty are looking for an organised and proactive indivudal to join as an Operations Administrator.
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the operation, providing a high level of support, guidance and direction. In this role you will be working closely with Research and Sales Enablement team providing support to Specialty’s Division regarding their administrative needs and technical infrastructure which facilitates the achievement of team and company objectives
How you'll make an impact
- Proactively design, promote, and maintain administrative processes, data, and infrastructure to support workflows and streams. Ensure that these elements are clearly documented, compliant, and communicated, with all data being concise, up-to-date, and accurate. Additionally, assist various teams with their administrative needs and processes.
- Work with the stakeholders/users and users across Specialty’s Division to design, implement and regularly review MI information/data/infrastructure required in the business unit.
- Assist with the implementation and management of IT platforms and operational infrastructure and maximise the efficiency of all internal IT and/or manual systems. This includes responsibility for the support, maintenance and improvement of our Salesforce database. Working closely with relevant stakeholders, identify, develop and deploy new business processes. This role is part project manager, part administrator, part analyst.
- Focus the organization’s use of data for what best serves the mission
- Handle all Salesforce functions including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other routine tasks
- Gather detailed requests for improvements or changes to the system, and work with stakeholders to implement these changes as appropriate
- Train new users and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization.
- Foreseeing changes in the business environment and developing plans to proactively address them.
- Conducting interaction with employees at all levels to identify issues and opportunities.
About You
- Experience of working in an operations focused positon, ideally in a financial services/insurance background preferred
- Organized and proactive
- Experience managing stakeholders within a sales environment
- Able to use initiative to help bring ideas for improvement to life
- Able to work in the London office a minimum of 3 days a week
- Eligible to work in the UK
