The role
In this role you’ll work in conjunction with the Head of ERM & Analytics, to Identify, measure and manage Brit’s exposure to risk, and communicate this to management and the Board in line with the Risk Management Framework. Deliver the Internal Model validation, Own Risk & Solvency Assessment, and other relevant requirements under Solvency II, as well as providing analytics to support the development and execution of Brit’s strategy, with a focus on risk and quantitative analysis.
About you
Using your high quality written and verbal communication skills and understanding of Solvency II regulations you’ll be able to work with the Head of ERM & Analytics to develop and embed a fit for purpose enterprise-wide risk management (ERM) within the organisation in line with the requirements of the Risk Management Framework approved by the Board.
You’ll have a track record of success in an insurance or consultancy organisation, applying rigorous risk disciplines with high standards of delivery in a timely, cost-effective way.
You’ll also have knowledge of actuarial techniques and disciplines as well as a grasp of the commercial drivers and dynamics affecting the insurance sector.
