Role Purpose
- In this role, the individual will support robust governance, risk management, and processes for Group Procurement at Lloyd’s. They will be responsible for evolving best practices, delivering projects, supporting risk management, and coordinating supplier onboarding, audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, they will manage MyService tickets to ensure timely resolution of issues, book forums with appropriate stakeholders, schedule regular team meetings, and co-ordinate meeting outcomes, tasks and actions.
Principal Accountabilities
- Assisting the Head of Procurement Governance and the Procurement Governance and Process team to continue to develop a best in-class function with long term vision to deliver a sustainable approach to all third-party sourcing and supplier management whilst minimising risk and driving efficiencies.
- Helping with the Head of Procurement Governance with diary management and team management
- Coordinating the delivery of procurement governance and process improvement projects.
- Assisting in the procurement risk management activities including bi-annual review of the departments risk register, facilitating the risk control self-attestation (RCSA) process, and coordinating the quarterly supplier risk groups with the relevant subject matter experts. This includes tracking and coordinating the completion of associated actions.
- Assisting the Procurement Operations Associate in coordinating onboarding activities for third parties including due diligence to meet internal and external requirements for relevant regulations.
- Working with the wider procurement team to ensure the data is up to date within the contract management system and supplier contact details.
- Support the delivery of procurement training to the business and internal procurement team.
- Production of ad-hoc management information for procurement team and other key stakeholders for appropriate committees and forums.
- Support internal audit exercises on behalf of Procurement to ensure actions are completed within timelines along with the relevant sign-off and attestations are met within the appropriate timeframes.
- Maintain and update procurement materials, including MyLloyd’s pages, Lloyds.com and supporting the annual policy review. Additionally, take ownership of the Procurement Intranet page to ensure data is current and identify opportunities for site improvement.
- Manage procurement service tickets relating to supplier changes and purchase order adjustments within the corporation. Ensure all actions meet the SLA requirements, updating all relevant systems to reflect these changes accurately.
- Assist in responding to daily queries in shared group mailbox.
- Role model and coach others on best-in-class Procurement Governance Culture
- Facilitation of risk management activities for group procurement including updating the risk register, logging incidents, RCSA processes and the Supplier Risk Group.
