Position Title: Account Handler – International D&F (Caribbean)
Location: London (Hybrid)
Summary of Position:
BMS is seeking an Account Handler to join the International Direct & Facultative Property Team, focusing on the Caribbean region, a key growth area for the business. Based in London, this hybrid role requires in-office presence four days a week due to its client- and market-facing nature. As part of a highly regarded and collaborative team, you’ll play a vital role in coordinating complex insurance placements and supporting brokers to achieve growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate risk placements, including creating and maintaining documentation throughout the risk life cycle (e.g., underwriting submissions, market reform contracts, wordings, endorsements).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and market representatives through effective communication and problem resolution.
- Ensure efficient servicing of accounts from initiation to completion.
- Support brokers in identifying and qualifying business development opportunities.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including FCA standards and international frameworks, while adhering to company policies and financial reporting protocols.
- Encourage collaboration within the team and across divisional units, fostering a proactive and efficient working environment.
