Overview
Join AICL, Saga’s in-house underwriting business, as an Actuarial Graduate and play a key role in supporting our growth plans. Reporting to the Reserving Actuary, you’ll contribute to various actuarial processes including claims reserving, capital modelling, and reinsurance evaluation, gaining hands-on experience and learning from industry experts.
This role offers a hybrid working model, with flexible arrangements and occasional in-person collaboration.
About the Role
As an Actuarial Analyst, you will:
- Support and improve actuarial processes using specialist software.
- Work on claims reserving, capital modelling, and reinsurance evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Pricing and Claims.
- Benefit from mentorship and study support to progress with actuarial exams.
- Gain exposure to a variety of actuarial disciplines and stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with actuarial modelling and reporting.
- Analyse claims data to support reserving decisions.
- Support capital assessments and reinsurance evaluations.
- Communicate insights to stakeholders across various teams.
- Participate in training and development programmes.
