Are you a proactive and organised professional looking to make a significant impact in the insurance industry? Pen Underwriting, a leading MGA is seeking a talented Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting our Capacity Management function, ensuring that our contractual documents, including profit shares, are meticulously maintained and organised.
How you'll make an impact
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be at the heart of our operations, providing essential support to our Capacity Strategy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Arrange and manage meetings, including capacity meetings, and take minutes when required. Your organisational skills will ensure that our team stays on track and informed.
- Assist in the organisation of management meetings and presentations, both internally and externally. Your attention to detail will help us deliver impactful presentations and meetings.
- Maintain all Delegated Underwriting Agreement records, including profit share agreements, ensuring they are up to date and accurately filed.
- Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and media interviews, showcasing your ability to communicate complex information effectively.
- Compose and draft correspondence with clarity and professionalism, ensuring our communications are top-notch.
About You
- Qualifications:Ideally educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
- Technical Knowledge:A basic understanding of general insurance, particularly within the London Market/Lloyd’s, is advantageous.
- Experience:Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and support management effectively.
- Skills:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in MS Office.
- Eligibility:Must be eligible to work in the UK.
