Senior Project Manager
We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to be based in London on a full-time basis, reporting into the Head of Section
Responsibilities:
- Running complex high impact cases aligned to ITRS strategy with focus on cyber threat protection/ risk remediation as well as ITRS operation model optimization (continuous improvement activities)
- Taking over responsibility for initiating, planning, leading/managing and influencing major elements of the ITRS strategy execution (direct & virtual tech & non-tech projects) in a global complex environment
- Analysing case problem statements and driving solution design by virtually leading group of subject matter experts and overseeing delivery teams required for cases of concern
- Taking ownership for case value realisation and to meet quality, time & budget objectives
- Owning case-related governance (SteerCo, manage prioritization, roadmaps, decision making)
- Owning case-related comms and relationship mgmt. (to SMEs and to senior leadership levels)
- Partnering with Global Program Office functions to connect dots between cases and strategy
- Coordinating with relevant change execution and oversight partners (e.g., 2nd line of defense)
- Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders.
Knowledge and Skills
- Greater than 8+ years’ professional experience in a variety of IT areas (including IT/Cyber Security, (IT/Cyber) strategy, rollout, remediation, organisation change) with focus on transformation, program and project mgmt. and managing diverging interests, preferred min. 6+ years in IT Security
- Insurance & Financial Services industry know how, ideally with international experience
- Established track record of successful implementations that delivered measurable value
- Proven ability to rigorously manage scope, quality, costs, risk & time + lead virtual teams
- Proven knowledge of project mgmt. processes and tools, ideally including clarity and SAP
- Confidence to engage diverse levels of seniority, highly self-motivated, driving, flexible
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Willingness to travel
