We are currently recruiting for a Configuration Analyst to join our established and experienced Chief Information Office team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
Your Role:
As the Configuration Analyst you will be responsible to support the Configuration Manager in delivering the Configuration Management process in ServiceNow. You will be performing daily, weekly and monthly activities to validate the data in the CMDB (Configuration Management Database) against other toolsets.
You will be responsible for validating ServiceNow Discovery and the components that are updated via that mechanism. You will be creating some manual Configuration Items (CIs), in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), where relevant and appropriate, for example Business Applications and Application Services and relating them to upstream and downstream components.
You will regularly validate the data within the CMDB. You will support, review and assess Configuration Management interfaces with other processes. You will also be supporting provision of data for audit and risk management processes.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have prior experience in Configuration Management or similar field. You will have experience with ServiceNow and MS Excel.
You will have data analysis experience working with multiple stakeholders to understand data relationships. Prior experience in manipulating data would be required for this role. Any experience with ITIL frameworks would be beneficial but not essential.
