The opportunity:
As part of the Wholesale Claims team, you will oversee the development and implementation of data analytics. This includes leading and mentoring analysts, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of claims data, and collaborating with senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at improving claims performance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee the development and implementation of data analytics projects to support Claims Operations.
- To Lead and mentor analysts in the team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of claims data by implementing robust data quality controls.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at improving claims performance.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and analysis to senior leadership, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Manage the delivery of key projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure delivery of timely and accurate claims reporting to the Claims management team and wider MINT Leadership.
- Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators to drive improved claims performance.
- Identify and drive process improvements with input to claims data strategy.
- Use Power BI, Claims Systems, and Expert spend systems to build insightful dashboards and reports for multiple business functions in addition to claims leadership.
Our must-haves:
- A proven track record in data analytics.
- Experience with London market systems and processes such as ECF, claims workflow triggers, and London market claims processes.
- Experience using data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- A professional approach to successfully interact and collaborate with senior management, brokers, clients, and the claims leadership and claims management team.
- Experience discussing and documenting technical data requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English language and be able to clearly and concisely articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure.
