Your Role:
You will be the founding leader of Apollo’s delivery capability, shaping an agile, product-led culture that helps teams collaborate, focus on outcomes, experiment, and learn at pace. Working closely with Product Leads and senior stakeholders, you will own portfolio-level governance, translate OKRs into quarterly delivery plans, and ensure delivery is transparent, explainable, and aligned to value. You will coach and line-manage Delivery Managers and Business Change Managers, embedding practices that make delivery a trusted, enabling force across Digital Solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Establish and embed a delivery governance model that gives clear portfolio visibility without unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Partner with Product Leads to translate OKRs into quarterly delivery plans and outcome-focused roadmaps.
- Own quarterly governance packs, ensuring stakeholders are engaged, aligned, and informed.
- Coach, line-manage, and develop a small team of Delivery Managers, growing delivery capability from the ground up.
- Anticipate and manage cross-squad dependencies, surfacing risks early and coordinating decisions.
- Champion an agile, product-led culture that balances pace, collaboration, empowerment, and accountability.
- Act as the voice of delivery at senior forums, providing clear portfolio-level reporting and storytelling.
What We Are Looking For:
- Significant experience as a Delivery Lead in a corporate environment.
- Strong background embedding delivery governance while supporting agile ways of working.
- Proven leader with experience coaching and growing delivery talent.
- Skilled collaborator, confident partnering with senior stakeholders, Product Leads, and Execs.
- Comfortable being the first hire; able to shape culture, capability, and practices from day one.
- Pragmatic, inspiring, and confident leading through both structure and influence.
