AXA UK is seeking a dynamic People Change and Communication Consultant to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You’ll be responsible for managing the planning and execution of change initiatives that drive our organisation’s transformation efforts. Your expertise will help ensure that change is implemented smoothly, with a focus on enhancing the employee experience. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across the business to develop effective communication strategies that promote understanding, engagement, and buy-in throughout periods of change.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies aligned with organisational goals, ensuring a positive employee experience throughout change initiatives.
- Design and deliver tailored communication plans for various stakeholder groups, promoting clear, consistent, and engaging messaging to foster understanding and buy-in.
- Support leaders and teams by providing coaching, tools, and resources to facilitate adaptation, build resilience, and navigate change effectively.
- Continuously assess organisational readiness and change impacts to identify risks and opportunities, adjusting approaches to enhance engagement and reduce disruption.
- Promote transparency and gather feedback proactively to address concerns, build trust, and boost morale during periods of change.
- Collaborate with owners to refine change plans, track progress, and ensure initiatives are aligned with employee needs and organisational objectives.
- Manage engagement activities and foster communities involved in change efforts to encourage participation, collaboration, and shared ownership.
- Create and develop digital and online content to support communication and engagement strategies, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness.

What you’ll bring:
- Have in-depth change management expertise, familiar with methodologies such as ADKAR, Kotter, or Prosci, and adept at assessing impacts to develop appropriate interventions.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship building, with experience managing change communities and promoting active participation.
- Proficient in creating compelling digital content, including videos, intranet articles, and social media campaigns, while being familiar with online collaboration tools and digital platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate communication and change initiatives through surveys, feedback, and metrics, translating data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrate strong strategic communication skills with the ability to develop clear, targeted strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Possess excellent storytelling and messaging capabilities tailored to diverse audiences to foster understanding and engagement.
- Well-organised with project management abilities to coordinate multiple initiatives, track progress, manage dependencies, and adapt plans as needed.
- Effective facilitator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of leading discussions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings, while demonstrating resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments.
