As a Delivery Lead at Intact Insurance, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the enterprise data platform that underpins critical business and customer outcomes. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex data and platform initiatives, working at the heart of a modern Azure-based environment to enable better decision-making, stronger governance, and scalable data capabilities. This is an opportunity to have real impact, influencing how data is engineered, governed, and used across the organisation while working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
You’ll make an impact by
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex data engineering and enterprise data platform within an Azure cloud environment, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.
- Drive platform engineering, automation, and governance, including security, GDPR compliance, data quality, cataloguing, and metadata standards across the enterprise data platform.
- Plan, scope, and manage delivery across multiple workstreams, owning release schedules, dependencies, risks, and change management to ensure incremental and scalable delivery.
- Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders, working closely with architects, engineers, cloud teams, and business leaders to align delivery with Intact Insurance’s data strategy and business priorities.
Your skills and experience
- End-to-end delivery leadership of complex enterprise data platform and data engineering including planning, execution, governance, risk management, and incremental feature release.
- Considerable experience in Azure-based data platforms and engineering, including ADLS Gen2, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and associated automation, integration, and platform enhancement.
- Experience delivering data management and governance solutions, including Microsoft Purview, data cataloguing, metadata management, RDM/MDM integration, data quality, and policy enforcement.
- Deep understanding of security, privacy, and regulatory compliance within insurance, including GDPR, PII handling, DLP, RBAC/ABAC, and delivery of compliant data solutions aligned to insurance regulatory frameworks.
- Insurance domain knowledge, with understanding of insurance data structures, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements, and the ability to apply this knowledge to the delivery of reliable enterprise data solutions.
