Job overview:
As an Assistant Business Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of important activities across our business. You’ll assist the COO Business Manager in the execution and delivery of responsibilities across the COO function. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills by preparing reports, organising meetings, tracking progress and building strong relationships with teams and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the COO Business Manager with key deliverables and project tasks
- Prepare agendas, reports, presentations and meeting materials
- Assist in organising meetings, site visits and team activities
- Track progress on actions and ensure deadlines are met
- Help coordinate recruitment, training and the UK Digital Sustainability Programme
- Support communication efforts across the COO function
- Contribute to quality management and project delivery
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
Your skills & experience:
- Stakeholder management at a senior level
- Presentation delivery and content skills
- Communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Interest in business, technology, or leadership roles
- Ability to work well with others and follow instructions
- Basic understanding of business or IT concepts is a plus, but not essential
