Job overview:
We’re seeking someone who is strategic and results-driven to manage all elements of the proposition development lifecycle from discovery to launch and continuous improvement. You’ll be responsible for driving strong commercial performance, clear customer value, and ongoing optimisation of health insurance propositions within Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) market.
Key responsibilities:
- Own performance outcomes for propositions within the SME segment, including growth, retention, utilisation and customer experience.
- Consistently develop and monitor product performance, value, and outcomes, identifying risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Identify and deliver action plans that consistently improve the customer experience.
- Oversee processes to proactively mitigate risk.
- Recognise and shape proposition development opportunities based on business needs and insight.
- Manage the development of new healthcare propositions, ensuring the needs of the segment are met while remaining compliant with internal and external governance standards.
- Work collaboratively with teams to take propositions from concept to launch.
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. Your skills & experience:
- Demonstrable experience of developing products or propositions from insight to launch phases within a regulated environment.
- Strong commercial experience within health, insurance or the financial sector preferred.
- Good understanding of the UK healthcare sector and health insurance markets.
- Understanding of financial appraisal methodologies that are required to appraise the commercial value of proposition development.
- Strong risk management with skills to proactively manage risk management frameworks.
- Experience of working in agile delivery environments and working in cross functional teams to deliver customer outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
