The Role
This role supports the Head of IR in executing the company’s investor relations and external communications strategy. The position contributes to developing and delivering a clear, consistent narrative to external audiences, working closely with SEC Reporting and Legal, and coordinating across internal teams and external partners, including PR and branding agencies.
Key Accountabilities
Investor Relations
• Support the planning and execution of the company’s investor relations program, including the development of earnings materials, investor presentations, and broader external communications, taking ownership of defined components of deliverables
• Assist in managing relationships with investors and analysts, including the planning and preparation for IR meetings, roadshows, and conferences, ensuring high-quality briefing materials and follow-up
• Monitor market trends, peer activity, analyst commentary, and other external coverage to inform IR strategy, highlighting key insights and implications for messaging
• Partner with internal teams (finance, legal, and senior leadership) to develop accurate, consistent, and compelling investor messaging, contributing to narrative development and content drafting
External Communications
• Support PR efforts by coordinating with external marketing and PR agencies in the execution of the company’s communications and PR programs, including website content development and ongoing management to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with corporate messaging
• Contribute to the drafting and coordination of press materials, brochures, presentations, advertisements, and other external PR communications, taking ownership of first drafts where appropriate
• Assist in the development and management of social media channels, including content planning, publishing, and performance monitoring, in collaboration with external marketing agencies, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and tone of voice
• Support the development and maintenance of consistent corporate messaging across media channels, aligned with IR and broader corporate positioning, helping to ensure message discipline across all outputs
• Help ensure consistency of messaging across investor communications, press materials, the company website, and other digital platforms, acting as a quality control and alignment point across channels
Skills & Experience
Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance, investor relations, communications, or a related role; exposure to specialty insurance or reinsurance is strongly preferred
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills across multiple formats and audiences
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, organized, and delivery-focused, comfortable supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- High attention to detail, strategic mindset, and professional integrity, especially in sensitive situations
