As our CTO, you’ll be the strategic driver behind our technology vision, leading a talented team across multiple domains. Your leadership will be essential in translating business strategy into innovative, scalable, and resilient technology solutions. You’ll foster a culture of continuous improvement, fostering talent development and ensuring our technology roadmap supports AXA’s long-term success.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate the IT and enterprise architecture strategy aligned with AXA’s business goals and industry trends.
- Lead the strategic planning process, defining future state architectures and technology roadmaps.
- Oversee the governance of IT solutions to ensure compliance with standards and alignment to target architectures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business units and external vendors to drive seamless technology integration.
- Support the design and implementation of cloud, data, and AI infrastructure to enable advanced analytics and automation.
- Manage the solution architecture team to deliver innovative, customer-centric project solutions.
- Foster a high-performance, inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning.
- Act as a trusted partner to executive leadership, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
Your skills & experience:
- Proven experience leading a multi-disciplinary CTO function within a complex, regulated environment.
- Strong track record in developing and executing enterprise and solution architecture strategies.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with a focus on inspiring teams, driving change, and developing talent.
- Extensive knowledge of modern technology platforms, cloud solutions, data & AI, and security best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives and external partners.
- Experience working within an Agile environment, promoting innovative ways of working.
- A strategic thinker with a customer-focused mindset, committed to delivering measurable business value.
