The Executive Assistant will provide dedicated executive support to senior leaders through proactive prioritisation, stakeholder management and operational coordination, enabling them to focus on strategic priorities and organisational leadership.
The Executive Assistant will act as a trusted business partner, managing competing demands, facilitating effective decision-making and ensuring leaders are equipped with the information, planning and support required to operate effectively. The role will work collaboratively across the wider Executive Office, Executive Assistant community and business support network to deliver a seamless and professional executive support service.
This role will report to the Head of Business Support and Exec Governance.
Team
The Executive Office provides high-quality executive, governance and operational support to Kennedys' senior leadership population, including the Senior Partner, Global Managing Partner, Executive Group, and Business Services leaders. The team supports the smooth running of leadership meetings, governance activity, strategic planning cycles, stakeholder engagement and executive communications, ensuring leaders are equipped with the information, coordination and support required to operate effectively.
Working closely with the wider Executive Assistant team, Executive Office coordination support and business support network, the team plays an important role in enabling effective decision-making, consistent ways of working and a professional, responsive service to senior stakeholders across the firm.
Key responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support to the Senior Partner, Global Managing Partner and other members of Kennedys' senior leadership population, including the Executive Group and Business Services leaders.
- Manage complex diaries and schedules across multiple time zones, balancing competing priorities and changing business requirements.
- Proactively manage executive priorities and protect time for strategic activities.
- Review and challenge meeting requests where appropriate to ensure effective use of executive time.
- Coordinate complex stakeholder meetings and leadership engagements.
- Manage inboxes, correspondence and communications on behalf of senior leaders.
Required experience
- Experience supporting senior executives, partners or leadership teams.
- Exceptional diary, inbox and stakeholder management skills, including experience coordinating complex meetings and travel arrangements.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills, with excellent organisational and prioritisation capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure while maintaining discretion, confidentiality and sound judgement.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with strong Microsoft Office, Teams and SharePoint capability.
