We have the opportunity for a Customer Oversight Reporting and Insights Manager to join our Customer Oversight department here at Tokio Marine Kiln. You will report into the Head of Customer Oversight and will assist in improving, controlling, and delivering the reporting and analysis requirements for Customer Outcomes, ensuring the reports are consistent, designed to meet the needs of the audiences, streamlined operationally, and contain a single source of the truth. You will lead the development and implementation of insights into the various Customer Outcomes reporting, ensuring insights are relevant to the audience, advanced in the way they are generated using the latest techniques and methodologies.
The role includes responsibility for:
- Overseeing & supporting the gathering of requirements, identification of data gaps, and aid in the creation of new/modified Customer Outcomes report templates and building reporting solutions.
- Managing the integrity of the Customer Outcomes MI Reporting, ensuring that problems are speedily resolved, and suitable control mechanisms are implemented to prevent reoccurrence.
- The delivery of actionable customer, market, or other external insights, ensuring insights are relevant, targeted and enable key strategic business decisions.
- Leading on the development of a "one version of the truth" knowledge library detailing all sources of Customer Outcomes MI and their purposes to reduce conflict between data sets.
- Defining the parameters for a 'self-serve' Customer Outcomes MI capability.
- Collaborating with senior managers, business partners and other departmental leaders to address customer outcomes reporting shortfalls and concerns ensuring that work is conducted in a logical & time/cost efficient manner.
- Supporting the career development of your team through appropriate coaching/ mentoring/ succession planning.
- Developing the review and reporting processes; overseeing the operation and improvement of existing reporting operational models to ensure their viability and continuous improvement. Owning the development of future models.
- Developing and maintaining effective and close working relationships with the relevant business areas including but not limited to Legal, Compliance, Risk, Underwriting and Claims to ensure effective co-ordination of resources and responsibilities so that all material conduct risks are identified and managed within agreed risk appetite.
- Awareness of and compliance with the relevant rules, regulations and requirements laid down by any relevant regulatory, statutory and / or supervisory bodies or authorities in which the company is registered, trades and/or operates.
Proven experience in financial services, preferably the insurance sector and the London market. Experience of working in a global, dynamic environment is essential. It is also essential that you have experience with PowerBI and delivering automated reporting solutions and analytics dashboards to track business metrics. A robust, up-to-date knowledge and experience of technology and methods in the data space such as SQL, Python, as well as awareness of regulators’ approach to consumer business would also be highly beneficial.
