We have the opportunity for a Risk Analyst to join our Risk department here at Tokio Marine Kiln. You will report to the Actuarial Risk Officer and will be responsible for the provision and analysis of risk management systems and data. You will be expected to maintain risk information across all risk types and will also assist in the implementation of the risk management framework across the business.
The role includes responsibility for:
- Regular production of key risk information for internal and external audiences including Board and Risk Committees
- Support the risk management team in delivering analysis and strategic projects
- Assist in producing plans for the annual and quarterly ORSA process
- Prepare templates in preparation for analysis
- Manage data requests and receipt and provide regular status updates
- Assist in the collection of risk metrics and associated reporting to relevant risk committees
- Support the Risk Management team in the delivery of key regulatory MI including annual statutory report and accounts, Lloyd’s Oversight Principles
- Participate in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of emerging risks, opportunities and trends.
- Support the Risk team as required in work such as climate & sustainability, risk metrics & appetites, risk assessments, controls, and reporting
- Support the design and performance of scenario testing for the ORSA, validation, and regulatory stress tests purposes
The successful candidate will have a strong academic background with a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject and A level Mathematics or equivalent. Some understanding of insurance, risk management practices, and/or Lloyd’s would be an advantage. We are looking for someone who has strong analytical and critical thinking skills, who is also a strong communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
