Summary of Position
This role sits within the UK Specialty Finance team, supporting the Assistant Financial Controller with month-end processes and driving improvements to monthly outputs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a collaborative approach, and a proactive mindset to streamline processes and deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and enhance existing processes.
- Maintain the fixed assets register and post depreciation journals.
- Prepare and simplify cost allocation processes.
- Develop and maintain inter-company reconciliations.
- Post recharges to and from overseas teams.
- Reconcile insurance ledgers in Eclipse to Sun accounting systems.
- Analyse and provide commentary on T&E expenses and exceptional costs.
- Handle ad hoc queries related to Concur, Proactis, and Sun systems.
- Maintain Concur mapping and oversee monthly financial control sign-offs.
Skills & Competencies

- Familiarity with Sun, Proactis, Concur, and Prophix systems is preferred but not essential.
