We’re looking for an
ILS Analyst, Ada Capital
Based in Bermuda, this newly created role will work on Hamilton’s ILS business, supporting the administration of Ada Capital Management and aiding investor relations.
Ada Capital Management Limited (“Ada Capital”), is a Hamilton owned and controlled, Bermuda-regulated insurance agent authorised to underwrite fully collateralised business on behalf of Ada Re, Ltd. (“Ada Re”), a Bermuda-registered special purpose insurer.
What you will do
- Lead the set up and ongoing administration of the relevant trust accounts
- Support the performance management of Ada Capital, including:
- Collateral release process - ensuring distribution of capital to investors as needed
- Loss monitoring and reserve estimates
- Co-ordinate Ada Capital reporting requirements, working with our third-party service provider, including:
- Providing the relevant information required for monthly Capital Statements to each investor
- Provide regular loss updates of each segregated account to the third-party fund management team
- Create monthly performance exhibits to distribute to investors
- Support the team in investor relations when required, developing and marketing strategies to third-party investors
- Work collaboratively with the broader Hamilton team to optimize the outcomes for all stakeholders
What you require for the role
- Prior experience in a similar role, analysing and reporting on portfolios of Property Cat business
- Accounting designation (i.e., CPA, CFA or equivalent) or progression towards preferred
- Experience preparing reports for ILS investors
- Experience with SQL and/or Python and advanced Excel would be advantageous
- Ability to productively leverage data and technology.
