As a Cyber Risk Consultant you will be responsible for advising clients on leading cybersecurity risks and improving their cybersecurity maturity, whilst also understanding the importance of, and link to, cyber insurance. The role comprises involvement in quantification projects, risk assessments, developing cybersecurity strategies and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations & standards. Alongside this, there will be an expectation to maintain strong client and colleague relationships and stay up to date on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
Within your role, you will be responsible for delivering cyber risk advisory services that include:
• Assisting with the sales and business development activities that includes sales pipeline analysis, proposal writing, client presentations
• Building constructive business development networks within Aon and outside the business
• Producing high quality work as part of a team
• Understanding and anticipating client needs based on a good understanding
• Delivering across a range of Cybersecurity services:
• Cybersecurity Risk Assessment
• Cybersecurity Capability and ISMS Maturity
• Cybersecurity Optimisation
• Incident Response Readiness
About you
Your knowledge and expertise:
Technical
• Proven consulting experience
• Deep knowledge in industry sector/s
• Previous experience in security consulting, cyber risk consulting, business continuity
Team & Client Management
• Experience of business development tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience of developing and managing positive client relationships
Desirable
• Risk, Security, or Assurance certifications
• Experience or desire to work within Cyber Security Assessments and Cyber Frameworks
• Experience with one or more Security Framework
• Holds or is able to hold Security Check level clearance
• Manage client expectations and contribute towards overall project delivery.
• Assist in project management – ensure more junior team members have clarity on their role and the required information to deliver efficiently and effectively.
• Contribute to opportunity identification, development, and conversion.
• Build and maintain a network of client and internal contacts, aiming to develop strong long-term relationships and keep abreast of cyber / industry specific issues.
• Apply best practices to ensure a high level of quality assurance in all projects.
• Support innovation within the team and promote a culture of collaboration.
• Contribute to formal and informal training of more junior colleagues.
• Communicate key messages from complex analyses and effectively present results, demonstrating a clear understanding of commercial context and impact.
