How does this role contribute to our collective success?
We seek a talented Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team and lead our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) function. This role ensures our systems are reliable and scalable, directly impacting user satisfaction. By integrating SRE activities across teams, you'll foster collaboration and continuous improvement. Your guidance and alignment with senior management will keep us competitive and innovative, driving collective success.
What will you do in this role?
- Oversee and manage the SRE engineering team to ensure continuous improvement in reliability, scalability, ensuring conformance to our security standards.
- Lead the integration of SRE activities across Application / Software development, IT Infrastructure and IT Operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define near term and longer-term improvement plans based on but not limited to: system availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning.
- Ensure recommendations have agreement and sponsorship from senior management and measure delivery of the recommendations.
- Define, produce and maintain dashboards and reports to surface and visualize agreed KPI’s around Application and Infrastructure performance and uptime.
- Define priority roadmap to enhance application monitoring and alerting.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software and infrastructure engineers.
- Ensure engineering processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify technical risks and roadblocks, agree action plan for delivery with senior management.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.
About You:

What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering team.
- Strong technical background with expertise in DevSecOps, SRE, Agile
- Excellent technical and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Scaled Agile, Github, Co-pilot, React, .Net, Unqork, Duck Creek, Azure Integration Services, Azure Pipelines, ARM/Bicep, Azure Portal, Azure Services, SQL Server, SSIS / SSRS & Dynatrace is a plus.
