Aperçu
Gallagher Re has a brand new opportunity for a Global Flood Peril Lead to join our Property Research Team. The successful team focus on providing catastrophe modelling solutions to solve our clients’ (re)insurance needs. Catastrophe modelling plays a key role in the (re)insurance industry, helping to determine the capital and ultimately reinsurance requirements of (re)insurance companies. A number of catastrophe modelling options are available in the market and it is very important to understand their strengths and weaknesses, as well as develop alternative proprietary solutions, in order to help our clients form their ‘view of risk’. The role of model evaluation and model development is rapidly expanding, as more data becomes available, more models are built, regulation makes stricter demands on model users and, generally, the sophistication of model users increases.
The individual we are seeking would be the global lead involved in all stages of flood model research, evaluation and development projects, including producing commercially relevant reports and presenting results to internal stakeholders and external clients.
We are advertising this role in London, Munich, Paris, Zurich and North America.
