Claims Technician - Glasgow

We have a fantastic opportunity for Claims Technicians in Glasgow.
As a Claims Handler, you’ll manage insurance claims from first report to final settlement. You’ll act as the main contact and decision-maker, working with suppliers and contractors to find the best outcome for each customer.
You’ll use modern digital tools, including video tech, to assess damage remotely and coordinate with on-site teams, helping speed up the process and improve the customer experience.
Your role includes managing all claim details, keeping in touch with customers and suppliers, overseeing supplier work, and controlling costs and payments. You’ll ensure high technical standards and always keep the customer in mind.
We’re looking for someone who communicates well, stays organised, and adapts easily to change. You should be confident using technology and keen to keep learning.

The skills you will have when you apply:
- Experience in managing claims across multiple clients: Previous experience in a claims environment is essential.
- Excellent communication skills: You will interact with policyholders, insurers, contractors, and other stakeholders. You’ll need to explain complex details clearly and negotiate fair settlements for all parties involved.
- Commitment to professional development: A dedication to working towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification is essential.
