Job Title: Wordings Analyst – Specialty Risks
Division: Specialty Risks
Reports To: As per Beazley’s organisation chart
Key Relationships:
Wordings team, Specialty Risks Business & Underwriting Management Team, Specialty Risks Underwriters, Claims, Compliance, Incubation and all other relevant stakeholders
Job Summary:
Provide policy wordings/insurance contracts support to other members of Wordings team and broader wordings support to the Specialty Risks Underwriting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Wordings
- Work in conjunction with the Wordings Leads, Lawyers and Specialists, Compliance, Claims and Underwriters on -
- drafting policy wordings and endorsements
- workflow management
- other wordings support as needed
- Manage endorsement requests and forms library
- Provide assistance with additional projects for Business and Underwriting Management as needed
- Where applicable, draft endorsement language for review by Wordings Lawyer/Specialist
- Work independently on projects as assigned
- Help review NDAs

This may include, amongst others, Beazley’s underwriting control standards, Beazley’s claims control standards, other Beazley standards and customer relationship management.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as individually notified, either through your objectives or through the learning management system. These may include membership of any Beazley committees or working groups.
Personal Specification:
Essential Criteria
- Professional experience required – ideally within insurance, compliance or legal
- Understanding of policy and/or contract wordings advantageous
- Law degree preferred
