How you'll make an impact

Primarily focused on providing support for various HR employee programs at division and/or branch level, the HR Specialist maintains confidentiality and acts as ambassador of the company. Responsibilities may span across multiple facets of HR including recruiting/onboarding, performance management, compensation/benefits, employee relations, training etc. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, providing general clerical assistance to HR team members, managers, and employees, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving employee discrepancies with payroll, pto, benefit issues, and other related inquiries, and interpreting and administering HR policies. Duties may also include preparing process documentation, assisting with the coordination of onboarding tasks, supporting the administration of the performance evaluation program, maintaining HRIS records and compiling reports. Creates and runs reports. Assists with assuring compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. May support HR in preparing presentations, email communications, and print communications. Prepares power point and excel data presentations. Will support on key projects and may lead smaller projects. May support and serve as backup to HR Generalist.

About You

Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 1 year experience required. Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines. Preferred: Knowledge of applicable HR related laws and guidelines. Working knowledge of employment law, interviewing/recruiting techniques, and basic HR functions. Behaviors Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to work with all levels of staff and maintain strict confidentiality of information. Demonstrated passion for teamwork and customer service.
