Job Profile Summary
The Test Lead is responsible for the acceptance of software deliveries and collateral artefacts supporting the delivery of test plans. Also for co-ordinating test team activities leading to the successful delivery of Snowflake components into the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment. The Test Lead may also be required to both assist and advise users with UAT testing.
This role supports the Snowflake platform in delivering best of breed testing practice based around a core skillset of Snowflake, ELT, and other disparate tooling according to demand.
Job Description
- Work with Solution Architects and Development teams to both manage and conduct integration testing enabling software deliveries to pass acceptance criteria and governance gates.
- Be responsible for ensuring code and supporting documentation is fit for purpose meeting both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Maintain system documentation and ensure process conforms to Chaucer requirements meeting tooling, operational support and audit requirements.
- Raise and manage JIRA tickets for the timely remediation of issues.
- Identify opportunities to reduce risk, reduce cost, improve business efficiency and deliver business benefits.
- Contribute to both improving the SDLC and upskilling colleagues.

- Relevant industry experience, preferably within Insurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of data through previous hands-on contribution to design, development and implementation of IT systems.
- Proactive, determined and resilient with a positive attitude.
Education
- Degree or equivalent experience in-lieu
