The Role
Reporting to the Compliance Manager in Dublin, the role represents an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a small, experienced Compliance team of 5 (globally) and to learn and develop whilst providing support for the Compliance team across a wide range of areas. The role will involve supporting compliance for all group companies.
Key Role Accountabilities
Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to supporting the Compliance team in relation to:
- Horizon Scanning – Reviewing regulatory and commercial developments and providing updates to the team.
- Dealing with international licensing queries, alerts, renewals and KYC requests.
- Assisting with the annual review of policies, procedures and guidance documents.
- Responsibility for maintaining the regulatory reporting calendar.
- Clearing financial crime and sanctions screening alerts daily.
- Performance of second line Compliance Monitoring activities, including areas such as Gifts and Entertainment monitoring.
- Dealing with routine correspondence, general departmental queries, administrative tasks and monitoring the Compliance Inbox.
- Maintain awareness and appreciation of team members’ day-to-day activities to support and provide assistance at all times.
- All matters undertaken by the compliance team in supporting the Compliance Plan and Objectives.
Experience and Competencies
Skills, knowledge and experience:
- Professional approach with a strong desire to learn.
- Compliance experience in financial services is useful but not necessary.
- Business/Insurance/Compliance type Degree/qualification a definite advantage.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to handle a varied workload and competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

- Ability to support success and timely delivery in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Has personal drive and resilience in established and new/changing situations.
- A willingness to learn is essential.

- Willingness to work flexibly, the role may involve occasional travel to London.
