We are seeking a proactive and insightful Consultant to join our Performance team in London immediately.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside industry experts in a highly productive global team with a focus on investment banking and capital markets. The Performance team is responsible for analysing our unique industry dataset and identifying insights for clients regarding overall industry trends, focused recommendations, and strategic growth opportunities. In our team-based work environment, your contributions will have meaningful impact on the business decisions made by our clients’ senior leaders and C- level management.
The consultant will be working with senior leaders in the Performance business, playing a crucial role in the collection and analysis of financial data and the creation and delivery of insightful reports. They will also contribute to presentations of the findings to the industry’s leading firms. In partnership with our Relationship Managers, the candidate will have an opportunity to work on strategy and consulting projects for our clients to improve the performance of their IBCM businesses.

What the day will look like
- Contribute to data-driven research on financial services industry business and performance trends to identify and extract actionable insights.
- Review and assess clients’ regular data submissions for accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with global team members to support and drive innovation and new product initiatives.
- Prepare bespoke analytical reports and presentations.
- Maintain active communication with clients, replying to queries and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Degree or professional qualification preferred.
- 1-3 years’ work experience and/or proven interest in the financial services industry.
- Solid analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel. Some experience working with other data analysis and visualization software (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) or with databases.
- Experience with SQL/VBA/Python is a plus.
- Well organized, motivated, and process-oriented individual with a can-do attitude.
- Ability both to work independently and to collaborate on a variety of projects, manage stakeholder relationships, and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, strong command of written and spoken English.
