Property Risk Consultant - Salary is Competitive

Although the role is home based, you will be expected to travel when required to client meetings across the London & South East region - The ability to be flexible on travel is a must. A Full valid UK Driver’s License is also desirable due to the amount of travel - A company car will be provided.
A bit about the job:
Working with the London & Southeast Risk Management team you will be responsible for the delivery of technical advice, high quality reports and support across our SME and Property Investors accounts. A key objective being the delivery of a first-class risk management service which supports the Company’s intention to be the leading insurer in its chosen market.
- Producing bespoke quality survey reports and risk improvements including preparation and delivery of presentations to senior client management
- Managing & co-ordinating risks, handling technical referrals from brokers, clients and colleagues along with Compliance with our governance framework
- Developing an external network of Broker relationships, as well as key internal partner relationships to ensure excellent customer-service is delivered
- Supporting initiatives for service and operational improvements by acting on effective feedback, sharing ideas and engaging our team to fully work through options
- Supporting ARMS team meetings, and conference calls for the SME regional business
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Detailed knowledge of current risk management and loss prevention practices for Property and Business Interruption risks and Liability knowledge would be great to see
- Extensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, codes of practice, guidance, and industry standards with experience across a wide range of trades
- Ability to analyse, collate and interpret underwriting information to ensure timely, pro-active risk management decisions are made
- Highly developed presentation and customer engagement skills; experience at influencing and negotiating
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety qualification or equivalent
