What you’ll be doing
You’ll join our modernised technology team, having migrated to Azure and cloud services, in this critical Senior Platform Engineer role. As a senior member of the team, you’ll be responsible for the continued enhancement, delivery and support of the Azure environment as we continue to move forward with digital transformations.
Your day to day will include designs and documentation for Cloud solutions and services being deployed into Azure, providing guidance and support to others within the Platform team, delivering technical projects and workstreams and making technical decisions.
With the above in mind, we’re hoping you’re someone who is comfortable explaining technical topics and tailoring your style to match the audience. Additionally, you’ll be able to have robust discussions with peers and managers, taking on feedback and challenging others as appropriate.
In terms of technical experience, you’ll be well versed in enterprise architecture, with a focus on scalable infrastructure solutions. We’d love to see knowledge of security first design principals aswell as extensive experience with and detailed knowledge of Terraform & Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
Experience of using CI/CD pipelines for IaC work, ideally with Azure DevOps or GitHub.
