In line with our global strategy and purpose we have an exciting opportunity for a PMO Analyst to join the Transformation Management Office (TMO) to support the Programme Management Office Lead in shaping, establishing and delivering first-class PMO outcomes both locally into the UK Transformation Programme, and also into Group.

About the Role

As a PMO Analyst you will own selected PMO activities and their delivery, driving their adherence and ensuring ongoing improvements, you'll work collaboratively with the rest of the TMO team to help deliver outstanding business value from the UK Transformation Programme.

The role has a strong data emphasis, as the team pull data from various systems in order to deliver the required Key Performance Indicators, Assurance outcomes and overall senior management reporting. The role supports the delivery of PMO activities across selected areas including:

Governance
Programme Methodology
Assumption, Dependency, Risk and Issue Management
Programme Reporting
Resource Tracking and Management
Resource Optimisation

Key Accountabilities:

Ensuring adherence by stakeholders to the processes and activities as mentioned above
Supporting PMO Lead in proactively engaging stakeholders across the Programme on points of feedback and making proactive changes to PMO processes and materials, including measuring the success of the changes to ensure the right outcomes are being achieved
Preparing inputs for the regular programme level reporting and governance cycles
Producing financial and non-financial management information including core KPIs as agreed with key stakeholders.
Extracting data from source systems using established methods, analysing results and extracting key themes and trends reflecting an accurate position on delivery progress.
Managing Programme RAID logs, including incorporating Programme risks from delivery RAID logs, and preparing documentation for Monthly Risk Forum, including running review sessions with the TMO and Programme Leadership team
Managing change request updates and communication
Maintaining, monitoring and reporting against the programme resource tracker
Producing first draft of Executive level material for review by the PMO Lead
Managing the programme-level benefits register, ensuring that all benefits are identified, monitored and benefits realisation is tracked
Maintaining and updating source data to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and availability for decision-making
Carrying out assurance review processes as required by key stakeholders

About You

You'll have previous experience of working in either a project management or PMO role, on a large scale change programme, with experience of translating data (risk, progress, change) into management information reflecting accurate progress status. You'll have a sound knowledge and application of the following PMO capabilities:

Governance
Programme Methodology
Dependency risk and issue management
Programme reporting
Resource tracking and management
Resource optimisation

Excellent communication and relationship management skills with all levels of stakeholder
The ability to work to deadlines and prioritise time and workload accordingly
Flexibility and adaptability to change, and a willingness to adapt approach and style based on priorities arising
Proficiency in Office tools such as MS Office Suite and Agile tooling Jira and / or Confluence
Strong research, analytical, problem solving and decision-making capability.

Qualifications:

Any professional PPM qualifications would be preferable but not essential
