Claims Fraud Advisor
Salary: Circa £30,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Overview
This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in claims management or fraud investigations. You will play a critical part in identifying and addressing suspicious motor claims, protecting genuine customers and the business.
About the Role
As a Claims Fraud Advisor, you will:
- Support claims handlers by triaging potentially fraudulent motor claims.
- Refer claims that need further investigation to the Motor Investigation Team.
- Deliver coaching and training to improve fraud detection capabilities across teams.
- Analyse performance data and engage with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in fraud prevention.
Your work will ensure that fraud detection processes are robust and effective, helping to protect both customers and the business from fraudulent activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Triaging potentially fraudulent claims and referring them to the relevant investigation teams.
- Creating and delivering training sessions to improve fraud detection.
- Analysing performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Engaging with key stakeholders to promote best practices in fraud detection.
- Supporting customer-facing claims handlers in managing suspicious claims.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong understanding of claims fraud investigations and potential outcomes.
- Ability to interpret data and apply insights.
- Effective workload management skills.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
- Previous experience in delivering coaching or training sessions.
