Are you passionate about transformation, automation, and deploying cutting-edge tools like GenAI? We’re looking for a Finance Change professional to lead our Automation Community of Practice. This role is ideal for someone with a consultative mindset who thrives on driving process improvements and delivering real business value.
About the Role
As a Finance Automation Consultant, you’ll:
- Shape the automation strategy alongside senior leaders.
- Build a Community of Practice to drive collaboration across Aviva’s global markets and functions.
- Identify and design solutions to automate and digitise finance processes.
- Lead a team of change professionals and data engineers in the UK and India to deliver automation projects.
- Define best practices to future-proof finance processes and leverage tools like Power Automate, Dataiku, and GenAI.
The role requires close collaboration with IT, Risk, and Finance teams to ensure transformation objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate global automation initiatives to improve finance processes.
- Support solution design, leveraging automation and data engineering tools.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders to secure buy-in for new ways of working.
- Oversee continuous improvement efforts across Finance functions.
Skills & Experience Required
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Appian, Dataiku)
- Understanding of data engineering tools (e.g., ETL processes, AWS Glue, Snowflake)
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, Tableau)
- Basic knowledge of R and Python
Soft Skills:
- Consultative mindset with a solution-focused approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in project/portfolio management, ideally using Agile methodology
- Background in Finance transformation or management consultancy
