Overview
We’re looking for a Technical Delivery Manager with project management skills in agile software deliveries to join Aviva’s Bamboo Development Centre. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of IT systems development who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead the delivery of business functionality and system improvements on the Bamboo suite to benefit Personal Lines Business.
- Work closely with development teams, testers, and delivery leads to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered on time.
- Create and manage end-to-end delivery plans, applying agile principles to streamline processes and technology.
- Continuously challenge the status quo to simplify workflows and enhance performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate comprehensive delivery plans.
- Manage release planning, governance, and risks across Concept Squads.
- Engage stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Apply agile methodologies to project and program management.
- Use tools like Microsoft, Jira, and Confluence to support IT projects.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery.
- Ability to manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Background in project/program management using agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with IT tools and technologies such as Microsoft, Jira, and Confluence.

- Starting Salary: Circa £55,000
