Insights Lead

Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Insights Lead to join our Technical & Insights Team. This newly created role will work directly with senior management to develop and deliver strategic insights across the business, supporting UK’s leading Insurance, Retirement, and Wealth services.
About the Role
As Insights Lead, you will:
- Turn data into actionable insights to improve management reporting and systems.
- Research, collate, and analyse data across MI teams to drive better decision-making and business outcomes.
- Design and build bespoke dashboards and contribute to the complete reporting suite.
- Lead the development of the Insights segment, helping to modernise data architecture and performance.
This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to lead improvements in data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret data to support business decisions.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and SQL.
- Provide insights to Risk, Governance, and Commercial Operations functions.
- Coach junior team members to improve their outputs.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting across key business areas.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in insurance, particularly in Risk, Governance, or Commercial Operations (1LOD).
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
- Proficiency in SQL programming and data modelling.
- Ability to deliver insights in a clear and impactful way to stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
What You’ll Get for This Role
- Starting Salary: Circa £60,000
- Bonus Opportunity: 10% of annual salary
