HR MI, Reporting & Systems Specialist
The HR Systems & MI Analyst will be responsible for the management of the HR System, the people data and the delivery of accurate and comprehensive reporting and insights to the HR team and wider organisation. This will involve gathering, organising, and analysing data from various sources using a range of tools and presenting the outputs in clear meaningful reports and dashboards.
Our aim is to develop an HR environment with high quality MI to support CFCs business strategies, with better and faster decisions informed by data. You will be the go-to person for HR data requests and where necessary you will present the data and insights to HR representatives, managers and leaders.
Within the next 12 months we are also going to embark on a Workday Implementation, this brand new position will be the prime conduit between Workday, the IT department and the HR team. Once Workday has been implemented, you will maintain ownership for the system and become the subject matter expert on an ongoing basis.
As the HR System expert, you will be the first point of contact for any queries and provide technical advice to leaders, managers and employees across CFC.
About the role
The HR Systems & MI Analyst will work with the HR Team to ensure the most effective and efficient use of the HRIS across CFC. Your responsibilities will include;
- Ensure that the HRIS (CFC Circle at present) functionality is fully utilised e.g., dashboard maintenance, compliance management, reporting & analysis of all HR systems.
- Manage system updates, such as the new holiday year process etc. and support the HR Coordinator in ensuring that CFCs on-boarding and new joiner processes are kept up to date and reflect HR policies, processes and working practices, considering variations globally.
- Drive improvements to the functionality of CFCs systems, continually strengthening data security and governance processes to ensure they meet the changing needs of the business.
- Create process maps and user guides to increase user proficiency and provide expert support with system-related queries and reporting updates to the organisation, owning the regular review and update of the maps to ensure they remain current.
- Provide support and upskilling as needed to HR Business Partners, managers, leaders and employees CFC wide to enable future self-sufficiency of the HR system.
- Design, develop and maintain HR MI reports and dashboards to meet the evolving needs of the business, using Excel, Power BI and other reporting tools, automating where possible.
- Produce the monthly HR pack for the HR Team and Board and quarterly pack for the Executive Committee (ExCo) ensuring accurate and timely presentation and distribution.
- Provide data and analysis to support regular and ad hoc key HR analytics as required, including talent priorities, business reviews, turnover/retention, headcount reporting, engagement, sickness absence and regulatory documents (e.g. Gender Pay Gap Reporting).
- Support requests for HR data/reporting to assist with external audits.
- Support the Senior Reward Consultant with reporting, analysis and ad hoc project work as required.
- Drive the implementation, rollout, communication plans and adoption of Workday. Going forwards manage the continuous improvement of Workday as well as analysing, configuring and implementing solutions to address the needs of the changing and growing business.
About you
The ideal candidate will have experience in a previous HR role with a focus on HR systems and analysing data. The successful candidate will be
- Proficient in HR Systems with proven experience within financial services
- Expert in MS suite applications Power BI, Word, Excel (vlookups, formulae and pivot tables essential), PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Experience of delivering reports and presentations to management level audiences:
- Detailed oriented
- Good organisational and excellent communication skills
- Good aptitude in data analysis, reporting and data visualisation with the ability to work with structured and unstructured data
