Leadership Responsibilities

Build, develop and lead the Culture & Sustainability department meeting strategic and commercial KPIs, OKRs and other metrics.
Build, develop, train, manage, supervise and support the Culture & Sustainability team, developing a high performing innovative and agile team meeting client needs and demand.
Develop a sought after, innovative Howlett Brown brand in relation to Culture & Sustainability.
Cross collaborate with other leaders, departments driving excellence, high performing standards and positive culture internally and externally meeting client needs and demands.
Create business development activities and strategies for the progress and development of the Culture & Sustainability and wider company.
Actively contribute to the company leadership in strategic and leadership meetings and events.

Matter Responsibilities:

Undertake, supervise and manage the following:
Design and implement comprehensive culture and sustainability strategies for clients, ensuring alignment with their values and objectives.
Conduct culture and sustainability checks, assessments, and reviews, identifying and mitigating related risks and develop countermeasures and solutions including equality and equity impact assessments.
Serve as a subject matter expert, advising clients on best practices and emerging trends in culture and sustainability.
Drive continuous improvement efforts through training programs, awareness campaigns, and strategic initiatives, behaviour change through designed systems, practices, learning programmes and campaigns.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of culture and sustainability strategies, ensuring that client goals are met.
Develop and facilitate training seminars and workshops focused on culture and sustainability topics.
Conduct research into matters of culture, behaviour, change, diversity, equity, equality and inclusion,
Assess culture and sustainability practices, providing clients with insights, recommendations and solutions for the future.
Support clients in the practice of annual assessment and reporting for sustainability.
Collaborate and support the Head of Culture and Sustainability to develop and implement initiatives aimed at reducing clients' environmental impact and supporting positive workplace cultures for clients.
Engage clients in sustainability programs, focusing on people, practices, governance, and behavioural change.
Build, design, and deploy engagement and development programs that enhance workplace culture.
Assist clients in establishing offices in international locations by providing guidance on cultural fluency and related strategies.
Support clients in the design, assessment and monitoring of supply chains from a culture and sustainability perspective ensure ethical sourcing, engagement and responsible production methods as applicable.
Conduct research on geopolitical, socio-cultural, law, behaviour and environmental factors to support clients considering new markets.
Develop relationships with stakeholders (internal and external) to develop awareness and engagement of sustainability and ESG activity.

Core Skills & Standards

Strong analytical skills with experience in research and assessment methodologies.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and concise drafting and review capabilities.
Excellent communicator and effective engagement with diverse clients and stakeholders.
Exceptional customer service practices and behaviours with a solution focussed attitude and approach.
Contribute cross collaboration and team building.
Demonstrate respect, dignity and professionalism at all times to colleagues, clients and third parties.
Role model and comply with staff policies, practices and procedures.
Strong project management skills with a track record of driving initiatives to successful completion.
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to present to stakeholders at all levels.
Proficient in MS Office applications and associated software.
