AXA UK is investing in the future of our Commercial Claims platform through a transformative 4 year programme to implement industry-leading technology. The Velocity Programme will deliver the Guidewire Claim Center for Commercial Products, streamlining processes, establishing a strategic architecture for integrations, and modernising our Claims operations by decommissioning legacy systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead planning for the Guidewire cloud transition, managing external and internal dependencies to ensure seamless delivery.
- Monitor progress against project milestones, SLAs, budgets, and key deliverables.
- Collaborate with partners, vendors, and internal teams to develop and execute comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies; develop contingency strategies and escalate critical concerns.
- Contribute to programme delivery by aligning milestones, dependencies, and communications across teams.
- Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams and third-party suppliers to deliver positive business outcomes.
- Maintain transparency by providing regular progress updates to Programme Boards.
- Ensure compliance with organisational governance standards and controls.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and learning.

You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. Your skills & experience:
- Previous experience in managing complex project delivery across multiple technology and change teams within Financial Services.
- Experience with Guidewire software.
- Relevant project management qualifications such as Agile PM, APM, MSP, or equivalent.
- Skilled in using project and programme management tools.
