We advise companies during pivotal moments such as carve-outs and M&A, helping them build, align, and integrate talent and reward processes that support their strategic objectives.
Our clients range from local start-ups to global brands. This role is based in Italy, with collaboration across the EMEA Advisory Team and global colleagues as needed.
This is a client-facing, commercial role involving business development, deal closure, and project management and delivery. This role can be based across the UK or EMEA (UK, Dach, France, Nordics, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal)

What the day will look like
- Lead client engagements focused on Job Architecture, Compensation Design, Reward Advisory, and Pay Transparency, Skills management delivering tailored solutions that address complex workforce challenges.
- Advise clients on human capital strategy (workforce strategy), including total reward, EVP, skill management, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Coordinate the design and implementation of job architecture and skill frameworks, ensuring roles are clearly defined, evaluated, and aligned with organisational strategy.
- Develop and implement compensation structures, including base pay, incentive plans, and sales compensation, using market data and analytics to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
- Provide expert guidance during organisational transformation events such as M&A and carve-outs, integrating job architecture and compensation design to support new operating models.
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency, while leading project teams as required.
- Build and maintain robust internal and external networks to find opportunities and drive business growth for the Advisory team and the wider Human Capital business.
- Contribute to thought leadership in the areas of job architecture, compensation design, reward advisory, skills management, culture (Ways of Working) and pay transparency, showcasing Aon’s expertise to clients.
- Ensure full compliance with Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and policies.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing human capital strategies, including job architecture & skills frameworks, including job evaluation and levelling methodologies.
- Demonstrated track record in human capital advisory, including advising on total reward strategy, EVP, Ways of working, skills management and pay transparency initiatives.
- Experience leading complex projects involving job architecture and compensation design, ideally within consulting or advisory environments.
- Strong capability in interpreting and applying market data (incl. compensation data) to support client recommendations.
- Experience supporting organisations through M&A, carve-outs, or other transformation events, with a focus on integrating talent and reward processes.
- Commercial acumen, with a history of business development, client relationship management, and driving revenue growth.
- Advanced analytical skills for data interpretation and integration to support decision-making.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and geographies in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Favourable but not essential: multilingual and fluent in English.
