We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Desktop Liability Adjuster to work anywhere in the UK.
This is a technical, customer-facing role focused on investigating and handling property damage claims of differing values, working both independently and under referral. We are looking for an experienced, senior-level handler with extensive experience in property claims (commercial and/or domestic) and/or liability claims.
You will handle property claims for utility companies, using your skills to investigate and assess the claims, and instruct appropriate experts when needed. Soft skills and proactivity are important. As a senior handler, you will be expected to manage more complex cases, exercise sound judgement, provide confidence and reassurance to clients, and support the wider team by assisting with and responding to internal referrals when required.
With experience in claims, you will identify suspicious information, follow procedures to prevent fraud, and evaluate evidence. The client is very customer-focused. You will answer correspondence, handle calls, update clients, and maintain diary processes promptly and proactively. Experience with utility or wet peril claims is a plus but not required.
Many colleagues work flexibly between the office and home, supporting a healthy work/life balance. The office offers bright, open spaces for collaboration and desk work, ideal for interacting with colleagues.
The skills you will have when you apply:
- Strong experience handling property damage and/or liability claims, with a clear understanding of the full claims process
- Ability to investigate claims, review evidence, and manage more complex cases with confidence
- Clear and professional communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service and stakeholder trust
