Job overview:
Join AXA Global Healthcare as we seek a dynamic leader to shape and deliver an integrated operating model for our IT Operations and colleague workplace services. In this key role, you'll consolidate existing frameworks from various AXA entities and third-party partners to streamline operations across the organisation. You'll also lead the convergence of colleague workplaces within our core business units, ensuring a unified and efficient working environment. Additionally, on behalf of the CIO, you'll oversee the execution of our IT security strategy, safeguarding business solutions, managing recovery from security incidents, and implementing actions from our business continuity and disaster recovery plans. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of AXA Global Healthcare’s operational excellence and security posture.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and govern a unified operating model for IT operations and workplace services, consolidating existing frameworks across AXA entities and third parties into a cohesive, scalable structure with clear governance, processes, and performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, consistency, and service quality.
- Lead the convergence of colleague workplaces across core business units, standardising tools, processes, and delivery models to ensure colleagues have appropriate devices, collaboration tools, and workplace services for a seamless employee experience and cost effectiveness.
- Oversee the implementation of security controls, risk assessments, and secure development practices to ensure all business solutions are secure.
- Manage governance for security controls, incident response, recovery planning, and testing to minimise business impact.
- Ensure alignment and integration of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, overseeing testing, training, and recovery activities in coordination with business units for timely service restoration.
- Manage IT risk and regulatory compliance requirements relevant to health insurance operations.
- Oversee third-party management related to IT, security, and workplace services, ensuring adherence to standards and risk mitigation.
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
We know that some candidates may be discouraged from applying if they don't meet every requirement. If you’re excited by this job and the prospect of working at AXA but you’re not sure you tick every box, we’d still encourage you to apply.
Your skills & experience:
- Demonstrated expertise in leading IT Operations, Colleague Workplace, or IT Security functions, with a strategic focus on driving operational excellence and transformation.
- Extensive knowledge of device management, collaboration tools, and workplace services, ensuring a seamless employee experience while maximising cost efficiency.
- Proven experience in IT risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance within highly regulated environments, with a strong emphasis on health insurance and healthcare sectors.
- Deep understanding of ITIL/ITSM frameworks, service level governance, KPIs, and continuous service improvement to support organisational objectives.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts, risks, and value propositions clearly to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing teams, influencing stakeholders across the organisation, and driving strategic initiatives.
