Strategic Engagement Lead, EMEA
As a Strategic Engagement Lead within the EMEA Communications Advisory team, you will lead strategic communications programmes for major multinational clients across EMEA.
This is a senior consulting role with responsibility for shaping communication strategy, leading complex transformation programmes, and delivering measurable client outcomes.
You will combine deep employee communications expertise with strong strategic advisory capability, lead engagements end-to-end, influence senior stakeholders, and contribute to the growth of the Communications Advisory offering across the region.

What a Day Will Look Like:
Strategic Advisory & Delivery
- Lead the definition, design, and delivery of large-scale strategic employee communication programmes, aligned to business priorities and complex transformation agendas, while ensuring delivery excellence across project teams.
- Take ownership for developing communication strategies, change narratives, and delivery roadmaps that drive tangible business outcomes across multinational, multi-market environments.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including C-suite and HR/Reward leaders, providing insight-led, commercially grounded recommendations.
- Lead complex engagements end-to-end, setting direction, ensuring quality, and overseeing delivery teams to achieve consistent, high-impact results.
- Bring fresh thinking to client solutions, drawing on market insight, emerging trends, and practical approaches to strengthen our proposition.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and lead senior client relationships, positioning yourself as a strategic partner and trusted advisor on communications and engagement.
- Shape and influence client agendas by identifying emerging challenges and proactively defining strategic responses.
- Drive long-term account growth by deepening relationships and expanding the scope of strategic communications support.
Business Development & Pitch Contribution
- Contribute directly to pipeline growth and revenue generation by identifying opportunities, shaping client propositions and RFP, and supporting conversion of strategic opportunities.
- Lead or significantly contribute to pitches and client presentations, bringing a strong and credible perspective on communications strategy.
- Identify and develop opportunities within existing accounts, positioning Communications Advisory as a valuable partner in transformation and engagement work.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Provide informal leadership across EMEA teams, contributing to team capability, quality, and knowledge sharing.
- Actively shape and evolve Communications Advisory methodologies, tools, and go-to-market materials.
- Promote the Communications Advisory proposition to both internal stakeholders and clients, influencing senior audiences to ensure strong and effective solution positioning.
- Support capability building within the team through coaching, collaboration, and sharing best practice.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Experience and Expertise
- Proven experience in strategic communications, employee engagement, and change communications consulting.
- Solid understanding of human capital and communication strategies, with the ability to integrate these into cohesive client solutions.
- Ability to lead and take ownership of complex, high-value, multi-country client engagements from diagnosis through to implementation.
- Credible and trusted advisor, with strong stakeholder management skills and experience engaging senior leaders, including C-suite and HR/Reward executives.
- Strong commercial mindset, with experience shaping opportunities and driving growth within client accounts.
