Are you a strategic thinker with a background in insurance? If you have experience of strategic capability development, delivering marketing plans, plus expertise in commercial, distribution and broker development, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for a Head of Marketing Propositions to join AXA Commercial for a 12-month fixed term contract.
You’ll ensure our strategy, structure and initiatives match AXA Commercial’s objectives, and that key programs and propositions are developed and delivered.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at our London, Glasgow, Birmingham or Manchester offices, visiting brokers or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support Marketing Director in marketing and broker development strategy, structure and activities to enable delivery of AXA Commercial’s 2024-2028 strategy.
- Drive key strategic proposition development, marketing projects and programs to successful outcomes.
- Coordinate mid-corporate proposition development and execute marketing strategy to ensure go-to-market success.
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships across AXA Commercial.
- Offer marketing consultancy across all areas of AXA Commercial, where required.
- Attend relevant transversal boards and committees.
- Improve marketing and broker development performance metrics and operational efficiency.
- Work with Marketing and Broker Development managers to ensure all activities are within budget.

What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in a similar B2B (business to business) marketing, distribution, or strategy management role, including strategic capability development and delivery within insurance or broker – essential.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the commercial insurance broker market, with a track record of delivery – essential.
- Knowledge of AXA Commercial strategy and key drivers, including products, propositions, plus broker and customer segments.
- Ability to lead complex transversal programs to successful outcome.
- Influencing and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to own and drive personal workload.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
