We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Marketing Manager with a specialised focus on website management to join our marketing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive website strategy that aligns with our digital marketing goals and enhances our online presence. You will oversee the daily operations of our website(s), ensuring they deliver an optimal user experience, meets performance objectives, and drives engagement and conversions.

Role Responsibilities:
• Website Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Group Marketing Director and Group Technology Team to develop and execute a comprehensive website strategy that aligns with the company’s digital marketing goals and objectives.
• Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the company’s website, ensuring optimal performance, functionality, and user experience.
• Content Creation and Management: Work with content creators to develop, update, and maintain high-quality written and visual content for the website, ensuring consistency with the brand’s voice and messaging.
• SEO Optimisation: Implement and manage SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive traffic, and increase engagement.
• Web Analytics and Reporting: Use web analytics tools to measure website performance, analyze user behavior, and generate reports. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve website effectiveness and achieve KPIs.
• UX/UI Enhancement: Continuously improve the website’s user experience (UX) based on analytics, user feedback, industry best practices and user interface (UI) recommendations working within brand standards by collaborating with the Brand Manager, Design Lead and/or UI designers.
• Technical Management: Work closely with the Group Technology teams to manage website infrastructure, resolve technical issues.
• Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO): Develop and implement strategies to improve website conversion rates, including A/B testing, landing page optimization, and user journey analysis.
• Project Management: Lead website projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure the website meets business needs and objectives.
• Integration: Consider and support integration of websites to BMS down stream digital platforms to ensure a consistent user experience and BMS brand.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
• CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing or a Digital Marketing equivalent is preferred.
Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of website management, SEO, web analytics, and digital marketing principles.
• Proficiency with web content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, and Contentful.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development practices.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4) and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz).
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
• Experience with digital marketing platforms, tools, and technologies.
Experience: Essential:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in website management and digital marketing.
• Proven track record in managing and optimising websites for large organisations.
• Experience with web analytics and reporting.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• B2B and B2C experience as this role will be working on a variety of websites, products and locations.
Preferable:
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and online sales strategies.
• Knowledge of persona-based approaches for design, validation and accessibility testing
• Knowledge of website security and data privacy best practices. An ability to work closely with Group Information Security Team.
• Familiarity with A/B testing tools and conversion rate optimisation techniques.
• Background in graphic design or visual content creation.
• Industry-specific knowledge is a plus but not essential.
