Job Description
The Role
Key to the role will be contributing to the on-going development and maintenance of Canopius’ Organisational Resilience framework, ensuring a consistent approach and execution across all functions and relevant locations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the maintenance and testing of the Group Emergency Notification system.
- Responsible for ensuring the Org Res SharePoint and Intranet site are up to date and fit for purpose.
- Working with the SMEs to address vulnerabilities in processes, documenting and designing work arounds to mitigate the risk
- Work with Procurement to ensue third party contracts are suitably reviewed and contain the relevant resilience requirements
- Assist in the creation and delivery of response and recovery exercises
- Support and ensure compliance to relevant regulations to which we are subject to including but not limited to MAS BCM Guidelines and UK Ops Res.
- Assist in the generation and maintenance of Org Res documentation appropriately for reporting requirements to Boards and the regulators
- Support in the annual BIA review process and be responsible for ensuring the suite of BCP and Response plans are kept up to date
- Work with stakeholders to understand importance of Resilience across the firm, embedding into culture
- Additional duties as assigned
Skills and experience:
- Candidates must have a general understanding of Organisational resilience requirements in a firm and the wider Lloyd’s Market
- Good working knowledge of Operational Resilience and Business Continuity
- Good relationship and negotiation skills
- Ideally CBCI qualified
