Overview
Are you a tech-savvy leader with a passion for innovation? We’re looking for a Senior Technology Manager to join our Global Platforms IT team at Gallagher Benefit Services (GBS). This is a key role in which you’ll bridge the gap between technology (GBS benefit system) and business, helping us deliver cutting-edge solutions to our global clients.
You’ll work with a talented team of over 50 professionals, supporting our Health & Welfare (Flexible Benefits in the UK) business across the USA, Canada, Europe, and beyond.
How you'll make an impact
- Lead architectural decisions for our Health & Welfare product portfolio, built on Microsoft technologies like C#.NET and SQL Server. (You can be hands-on with the coding, or have had experience in the past in this area).
- Collaborate with global teams to design and deliver innovative, cloud-based solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating their needs into technical solutions.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet customer expectations.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients, acting as a key point of contact for IT-related queries.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes in Health & Welfare and flexible benefits.
About You
- You’re an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software architecture, software development, business analysis, and project coordination.
- You’ve worked with Microsoft technologies like C#.NET and SQL Server, and you’re excited about cloud migration.
- You’re a problem-solver with excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain technical concepts in plain English.
- You’re organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Knowledge of Health & Welfare or flexible benefits is a plus, but not essential.
- You must be eligible to work in the UK.
