The Role
The Senior Billing Analyst will support the Billing Manager in leading day‑to‑day billing operations and driving operational excellence. Acting as a subject matter expert, this role ensures accurate and timely billing, supports process improvements, provides training to new staff, and serves as the first point of escalation for complex queries. The role also contributes to standardising practices and supporting the growth of a high‑performing billing function aligned with business needs.
Essential Skills & Experience
Billing Expertise
- Strong billing experience in a professional services or legal environment.
- Understanding of time recording, billing cycles, client billing requirements, and compliance standards.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and high‑volume workloads.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Excellent communication skills with confidence interacting with senior stakeholders.
Desirable
- Experience training or mentoring team members.
- Exposure to process improvement or system implementation.
- Familiarity with billing systems (Elite 3E, Intapp, iManage).
