Job overview:
AXA Global Healthcare (AGH) have an exciting opportunity in their HR team for a Learning and Development Manager. You’ll design, develop, lead and evaluate delivery of the learning and development strategy and plans, ensuring alignment to the overall strategy of AGH. You'll work to enhance performance in each business area on a global scale, including local functions.
Key responsibilities:
- Create programs and interventions to develop skills and capabilities of our employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Develop learning technologies to ensure seamless learner journeys and regular reporting of appropriate management information.
- Support the organisation’s risk and compliance objectives by providing thought leadership on L&D activity to increase understanding and application of Compliance regulations.
- Provide performance support as required to individual areas and teams within the business, working with the HRBP team.
- Ensure high potential individuals within the business are supported with bespoke development plans. Coach and guide the technical training function to ensure the best development delivery for their area.
- Develop and maintain deep trusting and respectful relationships with key stakeholders to ensure curriculum content remains relevant, appropriate, future focused and is recognised as an enabler to business performance.
- Prioritise self-development and continuously and proactively seek out ways to remain current and credible identifying and anticipating emerging learning and technological trends to innovate and improve learner engagement and effectiveness.
- Contribute to the growth and evolution of the Global Health Business by adopting and sharing best practice, bringing outside thinking in to innovate our offer and provide feedback and coaching to develop the team.
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Your skills & experience:
- Experienced Learning and Development professional with a good knowledge of learning and development practices
- Holds or working towards CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Learning and Development
- Good understanding of Learning and Development operating models, processes, tools, methodologies, techniques, and adult learning practices
- Ability to understand, assimilate and analyse data and insights to identify root cause
- Action oriented, delivery focused and excellent project management skills with proven experience in planning, managing, and implementing programmes of work
- Ability to develop a strong understanding of business outcomes and where L&D can enable
- Passion for delivering high quality work and continuous improvement
- Prioritise workloads and deal with conflicting priorities
- Good ability to draw down on external trends, emerging technologies to innovate the learning and development offer
- Experience of operating in a matrixed organisation would be advantageous
